When Will the Dao Ancestor Take the Bait?

On Lingji Mountain, at the edge of the Three Realms, lives Lu Xiao, a drunken Dao Ancestor. He only half understands the Daoist scriptures, his spells work only half the time, and a thousand years of cultivation have gone to the dogs. His reputation is worse than anyone's, yet he lives longer than anyone. Fortunately, he has a well-behaved, thoughtful little disciple. She adds a layer when he's awake and tucks him in when he sleeps. Following him around, she calls him "Master" this and "Master" that. She's a little slow, but sweet, adorable, and innocent. Everyone who sees her wants to give her a cuddle. Even a thousand-year-old block of ice would melt in the girl's arms, let alone Lu Xiao. Until one day, on a whim, he visits the immortal academy where his little disciple studies. There he sees the girl who had been sniffling and begging him for comfort just yesterday because she couldn't recite the Thunder Curse. Now she's got a thousand-year-old flower python in a chokehold, throwing a fierce punch as spiritual energy surges across a hundred miles, leaving everyone shaken. "I run this whole block from east to west, north to south. Ask around and you'll find out who's boss. If you keep bothering me, I'll break your other little dick too!" ...Oh wow. Theme: A deeply moving bond between master and disciple.
