The Immortal Is Still Waiting for Me to Come Home Today

Ah Heng is a petty thief who lives by swindling and cheating. Every time she goes to work, there's always a man beside her whom no one else can see. The immortal cultivator has a cool, handsome face and is taciturn, like a good-looking mute. But whenever she's about to pull off a job, she always hears his cold voice: "Take one more step and I'll cut off your hand." "..." What an annoying man. She can't beat him, either. Every day, Ah Heng hopes a bolt of lightning will fall from the sky and strike the annoying man dead. Then one day, she falls into the clutches of a demon. The man descends from the sky, his robes fluttering as he cleaves open the monster's lair with a single sword strike. She falls into a warm embrace. The immortal cultivator keeps his face turned aside, but the tips of his ears are red. Ah Heng: What a cute immortal cultivator. * Ming Jue is three thousand years old and still has no cultivation partner. The elders of his clan tell him that his destined partner is still in the mortal realm. Following the elders' orders, Ming Jue descends to the mortal world, only to discover that his destined partner is a little girl in tattered clothes, with two chubby buns on her head. At a crowded temple fair, the girl looks around, then reaches her chubby little hand toward an official's money pouch, smiling like... a cat that's just stolen a treat. Noticing him watching, the girl looks up, blinking her startled, fawn-like eyes. "Big brother, can you keep this a secret? I'll share half with you." Ming Jue says nothing. The next moment, she suddenly turns fierce as a little wolf. "Do as I say, or I'll call for help and tell everyone you molested me!" Ming Jue: "..." The elders had set him up.
