After Losing My Memory, I Scammed My Ex-Husband (Entertainment Industry)

The has-been actress Xu Qiao was hit by a stage light and lost her memory.

She lost it so completely that she couldn't even remember her own name.

The script beside her became her introductory reading. On the very first page, the heroine is struck by a series of blows, falls into confusion, forgets a memory, and is forcibly sent to a mental hospital.

Xu Qiao's eyes redden with fear. No, she can't let anyone find out she's lost her memory. She can't let them tie her to a bed and inject her with tranquilizers.

She carefully figures out who she is, tries every way she can to find her private social media accounts, and does her best to maintain her old persona without letting anyone catch on.

Her Moments feed is completely blank, and her Weibo is all selfies and ads.

By sheer coincidence, she eventually digs up an old account from four years ago. It has just one lonely post.

Don't Love Crossing the Overpass: I got married today. I never imagined I'd marry Shen Nanshu one day. Will life after marriage be like I imagined?

Xu Qiao instantly feels like she's found family. She digs Shen Nanshu's number out of her contacts, and the moment he answers, she starts sobbing. "Waaah, honey, I'm at the hospital. Can you come pick me up?"

Three years after their divorce, Xu Qiao had never contacted him once. They attended the same red-carpet events and galas countless times without exchanging even a single politely feigned greeting. After her career took a downturn and she could only land an A-list drama alongside a C-list influencer, she finally called him, opening with a sugary, "Honey."

Xu Qiao didn't know that Shen Nanshu had been trying to ignore her messages and stop himself from contacting her, holding on until his heart broke.

Now that she had thrown herself back into his arms, she wasn't getting away again.

Content warning: A sweet, soft female lead who relies on the male lead to make her famous again. Don't read if that's not for you.

PS: Sorry, I really didn't want to write that real-heiress trope anymore, so I switched to something that inspired me more. Feel free to add this one to your reading list. Sorry again.

Theme: If only we had another chance.
