Who Doesn't Have an Olympic Gold Medal These Days?

A ruthless, quiet, naturally gifted swimmer bottom × a talkative, ruthless, swimming superstar older top (The text has been extensively revised. Please support the official version.) 1. There's a legend on the swimming forums: a young swimmer broke the 100-meter freestyle record at a junior meet, stunning everyone at home and abroad. Everyone thought a rising star was about to shine in the swimming world, but then he vanished. Four years later, a new star named Chi Xingyi suddenly joined Wen Xichi's team. The forums were full of people calling him a nepotism hire. Compared with the naturally gifted young swimmer, he seemed to have nothing going for him. Chi Xingyi: "..." Why don't you take another look at me? I refuse to believe you can't see a thing. A reporter asked him if he felt any pressure about being compared with the mysterious young swimmer. Chi: "I competed in that race too." Reporter: "What place did you get?" Chi Xingyi said coolly, "I think I broke a record." Reporter: "There was only one record broken in that race... Wait, what?!" Everyone took another look. The more they looked, the more familiar he seemed. Good grief... 2. Wen Xichi is the anchor of short-distance freestyle. He's never lost a race, and his fans are everywhere. He's tall, long-legged, broad-shouldered, and trim-waisted, with eyes so charming they make even a dog feel adored. There's not a single flaw to be found, except for his temper. He's as stubborn and hard as a rock in a cesspit, as wild and arrogant as they come. After he retired, the F Province team gained a formidable new coach. He was more cautious about choosing swimmers than choosing a wife. The team leaders were tearing their hair out and were about ready to steal a swimmer from another province for him. Then he quietly brought back a boy who was almost grown. The boy was handsome, ruthless, and quiet. He stunned everyone as soon as he joined the team, and his swimming had the team leaders over the moon. His temper was clearly inherited from the same household. Getting a single reply out of him after asking three questions was a blessing from heaven. Except when Wen Xichi asked him something, he'd always answer. Sometimes he'd even throw in an extra reply. Everyone wondered where Wen Xichi had found such a treasure. Then one day, they overheard the two of them talking. "Wow, that kick! So clean and crisp!" "And that turn, perfect! If you'd been around back then, what would Wen Xichi have been good for?" The more he praised his cold-faced young pupil, the harder the boy swam. Everyone: "..." Oh, so he'd charmed him into coming along. The Five-Star Red Flag rose slowly as faith burned bright on the podium. The old guard still shone, but the new generation was even more impressive. Bonus scene: At a training camp, athletes from different countries got together to play a game where whoever had something the others didn't won. Chi Xingyi: "There's an Olympic champion in my family." Wen Xichi: "Funny, so does mine." Silver and bronze medalists: "..." We're done. This isn't fun anymore. [Note] 1.
