A Delicate, Tempestuous Beauty

(GB) Shen Lingxian is the greatest beauty in the Great Wei and the emperor's most beloved little princess. When she is fifteen, she finds a slave who has been bewitched into recognizing her as his master. By day, he is her overbearing weapon. By night, she torments him until his face is red, though he remains restrained and patient. Shen Lingxian takes endless delight in it. But one day, the spell disappears, and so does the slave. She is furious and throws countless tantrums over it, but the slave vanishes without a trace. A year later, urgent news arrives from the border. Under Qi's attacks, more than a dozen cities in Great Wei have fallen one after another. The nation is in peril. Only later do they learn that the undefeated general of Qi has returned. * On the day the capital falls, beneath the flames engulfing the walls of the princess's residence, the battered Shen Lingxian is surrounded by guards as they try to help her escape. The God of War general wears silver armor and a white helmet. His snow-white steed tosses its head and raises its mane as a gleaming sword blocks her way. Forced to turn around, Shen Lingxian discovers that the handsome, brazen general on horseback is the very slave who once let her do whatever she wanted to him. The former slave sweeps his icy gaze over the guards at her side, then lifts her chin with his sword. "I want your princess." From then on, she is the bird in his cage and the treasure in his palm. Who could have imagined that this great general, who kills without blinking on the battlefield, would let her have her way with him behind closed doors, just as before, blushing and holding back... Well, this time, he can't hold back. *The little princess has a nasty temper early on. The leads save each other. One-on-one romance, both leads' first relationship.
