The fluffy creature is from The Morose Mononokean. It’s more powerful and can transform into a human.

Xiaoge, I want it so badly. I’m going after you!

There’ll also be a Liu Sang route later. I feel bad for Sang-sang, so his romance will be completely different, but he’ll still be fluffy. After I finish Xiaoge’s route, I’ll write a shorter one for Liu Sang.

The cover is based a little on something online, but I drew it myself.

One thing: don’t bring the TV adaptation’s nonsense into Restart. I haven’t read the original novel, but looking back now, the two are simply incomparable. If I’d started this later, I wouldn’t have written this one at all. I’d have gone straight to Yyds instead (though I’m still lucky to have become a fan of Chang-ge). I watched this version of Xiaoge when I was young and didn’t know much, and without anything to compare it to, I had no idea what a disservice it was.
