[Harry Potter] To Liz Ollivander (Oliver Wood BG)

////Please don't give me three stars after it's finished////

-

A Ravenclaw Chaser who doesn't want to play Quidditch isn't a good wandmaker.

So, how many steps does it take to get together with Mr. Wood?

-

1. Original female protagonist, Ollivander's granddaughter, in the same year as the Weasley twins, a Chaser on the Ravenclaw team, and an ordinary person who isn't quite so ordinary.

2. Very little romance, extremely slow burn, mostly everyday life, with the plot following the original story and plenty of author-created details.

3. A tiny bit of the Marauders' generation, serving only as memories.

-

Wood can breathe, and feathers are alive. Only when a devoted craftsman gives them value will a wand choose its owner. Old Ollivander once said that every wand is made for the future, and every wand's creation has meaning. They lie quietly in the dark, waiting for the person fate has chosen to arrive.

Potential triggers (though I don't know if these count)

1. There is almost no plotline about saving anyone in this story. Major deaths will happen. I believe in the butterfly effect: when you insist on saving someone, a new death will follow.

2. The rules for professional Quidditch matches and so on are mostly made up by me, with real-world sports as reference, and some teams are alluded to.

3. Except for the protagonist, all pairings follow the original story. There is a lot about Cedric and Cho.
