[Haikyuu!!] Don't Chase the Rabbit

Four days later, at 7:30 a.m. on October 5, 20XX, a monster is heading from the eastern waters toward Yokohama Port. It is expected to land in two minutes. Threat level: Three.

"Osamu, wait there. I'll cut this guy's head off and send it to you as a birthday present." Atsumu puts on his helmet and looks at the footage being relayed to the screen in front of him.

"Give it a rest, idiot. The mech's blade is mounted on its right arm." As Osamu speaks, he signals to the control panel that they're ready to launch.

*Premise: The Hunter mechs must be controlled by two pilots whose minds have successfully linked, each controlling one half of the mech's brain. Their synchronization rate depends closely on how well the pilots work together.

*This story draws on the original Pacific Rim movies, comics, and novels, with some original additions.
