HP [Marauders' Era]: Aquila and Sirius

Aquila had never imagined that one day she would become so close to a Gryffindor! On the Quidditch pitch one afternoon, the boy basked in golden light, soaring freely through the dazzling sky! As if he had spotted the girl approaching gracefully below, he drew a deep breath and slowly lowered the handle of his broom. A breeze stirred the fallen leaves. By the time the wind passed, the boy's carefree figure had vanished from the distant horizon, leaving only light and shadow lingering behind, reluctant to part...

The boy came toward her wrapped in a gentle breeze and drifting clouds, carrying the faint scent of dewdrops and fresh grass. Then, without warning, the girl looked up and found herself gazing into gray eyes brimming with amusement.

"Aquila, you smell like a walking peach," he said softly. In her daze, she heard his voice, so light it might have drifted away on the wind, yet so deep that every word seemed to strike her heart...
