[Sentinel and Guide] Marry Me? The Kind Who Helps Raise a Child

The Su family fell on hard times, and the first thing they did was offer Su Jiao up in a marriage alliance. He was an illegitimate son, after all, so they wouldn't mind losing him.

As it happened, Qiu Li, Second Master of the Qiu family, had suffered from increasingly severe mania over the past few years. He had also gone blind in a war for the Empire and needed a guide to soothe him, making him the ideal marriage prospect.

When Su Jiao heard about the marriage alliance, he went to see Second Master Qiu himself.

Su Jiao sang his own praises: "I'm young, forward, and good-looking. I'm gentle and considerate, I can cook, I'll help raise your child, and I don't mind that you're blind."

Second Master Qiu frowned as he listened. "I'm eight years older than you, and I have a child. You're barely an adult. You'll regret this decision someday."

"I wasn't happy living with the Su family, so getting out early is fine by me. And there's another reason..."

Su Jiao smiled sweetly, narrowing his eyes and showing the tips of his two little fangs. "Second Master, you're exactly my type."
