What if Atsushi had never joined the Detective Agency?

What if Akutagawa had never been his rival while he was with the Port Mafia?

What if there had been no happiness beneath the tragic tone of the original story?

What would Atsushi's future look like?

And what would become of Yokohama?

A gentle but taciturn System named Blue Whale suddenly appeared by Atsushi's side.

Like a butterfly beating its wings, it brought a cool spring breeze to this rotting world.

[In the face of a beautiful, wonderful future, our efforts may seem insignificant. Yet it is precisely these small efforts that come together to create such a vibrant, brilliant tomorrow.]

Who will lead the literary world to unprecedented heights?

Why are countless ability-user organizations changing their names?

Who will bring peace between ability users and ordinary people, between nonhumans and humans?

Darkness and chaos have faded away, and light and order are drawing near.

What can words change? Words can change the world.

But words aren't all that can.

P.S. There is a golden finger: our Armed Literary Figures Training System, Blue Whale-chan!

The story also moves at a relatively leisurely pace. The protagonist group won't write their first piece until much later; for now, they're still learning to read and write.

'Wild dogs, pressing on through the mud.'
