[Honkai: Star Rail: Xia Ya] Golden Threads and Truth

The ultimate pure-love romance. Couple: Xia Ya (Teacher Xia and A Ya) In Okhema, where the night never ends, a bizarre rumor was making the rounds: Aglaea, the "Weaver" who spun fate from golden threads, and Anaxa, the "Mad Scholar" who met everything with a hint of sarcasm, were secretly in love with each other. At first, no one took it seriously. That is, until Aglaea caught Anaxa, unusually, avoiding her gaze in the council chamber, and Anaxa discovered that Aglaea had embroidered the fabric pattern he'd casually criticized onto a newly made ceremonial robe. Suddenly, the rumor had substance. The rational leader of the Chrysos Heirs began measuring every chance greeting with lie-detecting golden thread. And the sage of the intellect, who believed only in truth, filled the margins of his lab notes with theories about "why she frowned today." Testing each other turned into suspicion, and seeking answers bred misunderstandings. She thought his sharp tongue was a way to hide his feelings. He thought her silence meant she wanted nothing to do with him. Between the smoke and fire of the Flame-Chase Journey and the moonlight over the Holy City, two people who had never doubted their own beliefs began to question themselves for the first time. "Am I... falling in love?" Until the day the citizens' judgment was passed, the golden threads fell unusually silent, and mad words rang out over the holy water. He knelt before her in a wretched state and smiled. "I hope we meet again in our next life." Her vacant eyes rested on his miserable figure. She whispered, "...We will." The trivial entanglements of the past and their old arguments had made them cherish and miss each other. - Canon-inspired fan fiction | Anaxa x Aglaea | Bickering couple Theme: Love is entanglement
