Kunikida Ayumi is a sixteen-year-old middle schooler whose ability is called "Communication Collection." Though she's part of the Kunikida family, she has none of her older brother's discipline or self-restraint. When people question this, the girl pushes up her glasses:

"It's because I'm just a good-for-nothing shut-in minor with a useless ability."

"Besides, if Kunikida is my guardian, it's totally fine if I turn out useless!"

"My big brother's daily life is already a complete mess, so adding me probably won't make much difference... right?"

Like seeing the Port Detective Agency's third generation get married off, not wanting 'Knife-no-suke' but needing 'Oda Sakunosuke the Sweet,' refusing to let trashy Mori wreck society's harmony, blocking the mackerel's gloomy rants, aggressively petting cats in front of the cat-loving president, and turning Nakahara Chuuya into Oohara Chuuya... All right, that last one was a joke."
