[Demon Slayer] There Is No Me Here

The sun that day was as blazing and dazzling as ever. Deep in my memory, a man with a high ponytail and flame-shaped marks on his face held the hilt of his sword with a look of compassion. His lips moved, but I couldn't make out what he was saying. His face, silhouetted against the light, looked so unreal. Don't look at me like that. This was my choice. Even though I was in the darkness, I still turned toward the light. Someone like me should have died long ago. So don't feel sorry. Don't blame yourself. My hands, gradually turning to charcoal, reached forward and clutched at his trouser leg as if begging. "Kill me." The man's hand paused on the sword hilt, as if he were hesitating over something. Soon, he shifted his stance. His hand rose and fell, and everything returned to peace. The flower ornament marked with a red sun swayed in the wind. It was the last thing I saw before I died.
