[Reboot: The Sound of the Providence] Listen, I'm Watching You

[This story is published exclusively on Jinjiang. Reposting is prohibited, so please don't ask. The answer is no. This is a free story, but please support the official version.] [Starting a little Liu Sang pairing story. I haven't finished all the original works; I got into the series through Reunion. There are lots of personal headcanons, and this isn't a fluffy, naive story. That's why I started writing it.] A seemingly aloof but actually gentle boy on the receiving end x a guy who unfortunately can't keep his mouth shut. [This is an ensemble story, not just about romance. It also explores family bonds and healing.] A random thought: Liu Sang idolizes Xiaoge, but what if his partner were a child adopted by Wu Xie...? Would he still dare to put on his tea-art act? Hahahaha. There are some headcanon scenes at the start; the TV series plot comes later, and most of it has been heavily changed. If you can't handle that, don't leave a comment, just move on. I'm writing this brainchild for fun. The main premise: The Iron Triangle had planned to retire in Yucun, but accidentally crossed a barrier between worlds during a thunderstorm. They didn't expect Yucun in the parallel world to be gone, replaced by Paper Man Village. In this place where the living aren't really alive, the three of them unexpectedly find a child... [The first couple of chapters are entirely headcanon, and Sang Sang's arrival is different.] The protagonist's golden finger is his eyes and his craft. (Learn a skill well, and you'll never have to fear going anywhere!) There are lots of headcanons, and any OOC is on me. I started this story because the show had me so excited. Don't scrutinize the original too closely. (I'm not technically right, but I'm still going to be stubborn about it.jpg) [About forms of address: Even a centenarian gets called uncle, so don't fuss over whether Wu Erbai should be called Second Uncle. Also, read the author's notes. I know about the generational distinctions, and I've explained them in the notes. "Grandpa Er" sounds awkward, and I was too lazy to change it, so I'm sticking with "Second Uncle." Wu Xie's grandmother is called Great-Grandma by Yanzi, so please ignore that inconsistency. If you can't, please quietly say goodbye and move on. My author's notes are often long-winded, but that's where I share my excitement and feelings while writing, as well as explanations of certain parts of the story. Sometimes, please read the author's notes before commenting.] Theme: Family bonds and healing, love and mutual affection
