The Ambitious

Tan Jin is a flirt and a notorious womanizer. Following his usual routine, he has fallen in love at first sight yet again. But this time, the person seems a little different. What he thought was their first meeting turns out to be a reunion after a long separation?!

This time, sweet romance has nothing to do with him. Instead, he inexplicably starts remembering that distant, chaotic high school life:

The chubby-cheeked girl who inexplicably took a leave of absence;

The class king who should have been smug and flamboyant, but vanished without a trace after graduation;

The helpless teacher who hid in the shadow of the school building during the break between exercises, covering his face as he wept...

And of course, his younger self.

If the ending was decided long ago, would you still be willing to dig up the distant past?

Tan Jin glowers. "This is coercion! Coercion!! I don't want this either, okay!!!"

A few notes:

1. It's fiction, after all. When the false is taken for true, even the true becomes false.

2. How many main characters are there, or is everyone a protagonist? Which pair is the couple? Is the plot told in alternating flashbacks or in chronological order? This novel will reveal the answers to all these questions.

3. I hope you enjoy reading. No angst, I swear. Look into my sincere eyes.

Theme: May everyone get what they wish for.
