The Villainess's Self-Rescue Plan

Miao Jiao'er tossed her phone aside. "What the hell is this supposed to be?"

They call it this year's hottest urban cultivation novel with a strong female lead, and it's been running for millions of words, but it's packed with every tired trope in the book. There's more filler than water in water-injected pork.

So much for the strong female lead! She relies on the male lead, the second male lead, the third male lead...and every other man in the story to sort out all her problems. She's nothing but a shameless, manipulative flirt.

Not only does the heroine have golden fingers everywhere, but the novel is full of ridiculous plot twists. Every male character who appears, even the dog, is head over heels for her, while not a single woman besides the heroine gets a happy ending.

How is this ridiculous, bloated novel masquerading as a strong-female-lead story worthy of a fine young woman like Miao Jiao'er, who dutifully pays to read the official version?

And why is the villainess in the story also named Miao Jiao'er, with an IQ below zero? In the end, she even gets herself killed fighting the heroine over a man.

"Author, get out here! I swear I won't beat you to death!"

As the biggest villainess in the whole story, and the one who holds out to the very end, she has to come from a powerful family. Being pretty is a given, too. So why won't the author let her have a brain?

She causes trouble everywhere and not only gets herself killed, but also drags her family into opposition with the hero and heroine. The destruction of the Miao family even becomes a stepping stone to their success.

Miao Jiao'er is furious!

"Miao Jiao'er, you idiot!" At the muttered insult, Miao Jiao'er was suddenly sucked into the phone lying on her bed.

"If you can do better, then do it yourself! If you won't, quit yapping! You call me stupid? You do it, then! I'm done!" A voice rang out from the phone, gritting its teeth.

My ongoing novel, Transmigrating into a Book: The Cannon Fodder Girl of 1970s Won't Take It Anymore, is out now. Come give it a read and add it to your favorites!

Theme: How can you play the villain in a story full of ridiculous plot twists without getting struck down by one?
