After I Stopped Updating, the Entire Cultivation World Started Looking for Me

When other people transmigrate to the cultivation world, they become ethereal fairy maidens in flowing white. I start out rummaging through corpses at a mass grave, in a sect where everyone carries a coffin on their back. At least getting a golden finger is standard for transmigrators, and my looks are guaranteed to satisfy any beauty enthusiast. Me: No big deal!

My only worry is that I'm broke.

With no other choice, I pick up my pen and set off a literary boom in the cultivation world.

The alchemists recite my book day and night: "The Self-Cultivation of an Alchemist, Chapter Twenty-Three. I've gathered all the ingredients for the Dreamspring Pill. This time, I'm sure I'll refine it successfully!" The sword cultivators can't put my book down: "White robes, a long sword, flowing black hair, and the lofty bearing of a flower on a high peak. Most important of all, they know how to earn spirit stones! That's the image we sword cultivators should have!" The literary cultivators revere my book as a classic: "A single word can weigh a thousand pounds, one move in a game of go can scatter a thousand stars, one painting can create a world, and one melody can stir the heart. From now on, we literary cultivators have a path to follow in our cultivation!"

Later, the whole cultivation world roars: "One day, with a blade in hand, I'll kill every dog who dares leave a story unfinished! You old scoundrel Chang Geng, update the story already!!!"

Me, pen name Chang Geng: What does Chang Geng have to do with me, Zhou Yuxi? :)

The blurb is written in first person, while the main story is in third person.

Message: The power of literature never fades.
