I'm a useless wreck. I've been writing this book since last year, and I've only saved up fifty thousand words. I really can't keep going. It's not that tentacles aren't appealing, it's that I picked a male lead whose personality falls right in the range I struggle to write. I only realized I couldn't write this kind of character after I started. Sorry, I'm going to disembowel myself.
I think I'll have to revise the outline and redesign the male lead's personality and the plot from scratch.
Blurb
After completing her quick transmigration missions, Yu Bing is given two choices by the System: return to her original world or stay in another plane. She chooses the latter.
Then she meets a gentleman dressed with exquisite taste and carrying himself with elegance. He seems to be this world's "exorcist," running an agency that deals with supernatural incidents and destroys evil gods that hunt human souls...
Then, during a perilous battle, she watches with her own eyes as an evil god slices off his head. Just as she is overcome with grief and starts to scream, several plump, sucker-covered tentacles, soft as flesh, crawl out of his body, which still hasn't fallen. They press his head, which has rolled several times across the ground, back into place...
!!
!!!
Male lead: Fine, I'll come clean. I'm the Lord of the Gods.
--
At first, she sees his subordinates being all lovey-dovey and showing off their relationships.
Tentacles: Falling in love with humans whose lives are as fleeting as mayflies, and stubbornly losing yourself in that love, is so short-sighted and foolish. It's the very definition of tragedy, foolish and pathetic, a laughingstock.
Later: eating those words.
Yu Bing: Didn't you say gods who fall in love with humans are stupid? (Cruelly rubbing it in x genuinely curious checkmark)
Tentacles (lightly): Perhaps I'm a fool.
This is the second book in the Qiu Li Gao series. The outline kept growing longer and longer, so I decided to start a new book.
You don't need to have read the previous book. It won't affect your enjoyment.
1. The male lead is a tentacle creature.
2. No danmei or baihe side couples.
3. There are side couples, and they all get tragic endings.
4. The male lead has no unspeakable organs or taste buds.
"If he has tentacles and a long jaguar, isn't that just gilding the lily?!" (shouting)
Theme: I'm sick of tentacle monsters whose only character trait is being rapists.
If you want to change the outline, I hope you won't change the character of the male protagonist too much. I really love such a gentleman and strong male protagonist. Come on, I'll wait for you.
I really like Dada. When will I continue writing? Waiting [EYE][EYE][EYE]
Great writing, keep it up
! This is what I like! Pull the gods off the altar or something!!
Will Xiao Te be able to name his tentacles?
Good guy! I like the more sensible Bingbing!
Yay! The god who fell from the altar is infected with desire!
Gan! I love this set!
Yay! Bingbing is great!
Tie Tie, I admit that I thought wrongly...
