I Wrote a Love Letter to My Nemesis and Got Found Out

Xie Shuwen, Grand Censor, has two great passions in life: writing to Nie Guiyue, stationed far away on the frontier, and cursing her in those letters.

At long last, General Nie, who has endured her abuse for years, is about to return to the capital. She has also declared that she intends to "have a good talk" with Lord Xie.

The people of the city are all worried for Xie Shuwen, afraid that the Grand Censor, whose life's work is cursing Nie Guiyue and whose dream is cursing her to death, will be swallowed whole by General Nie.

But to everyone's astonishment, on her way back to the capital, General Nie picked up a beautiful male courtesan.

From then on, she spent every day in his tender embrace and forgot all about going to the Censor's residence to settle the score.

Later, General Nie discovered a box of familiar stationery in the beautiful courtesan's room.

Every day, letters written on that very stationery arrived from the Censor's residence, filled with insults directed at her.

The beautiful male courtesan, Lord Xie, hastily hid his writing brush and gave an awkward smile. "If I said these were love letters to you, General, would you believe me?"
