I Didn't Know My Husband Was the Emperor

[Rough draft blurb, to be revised]

Pure-hearted, devoted college student seme X scheming emperor uke who dotes on her husband

A college student transmigrates to an unknown dynasty and happens to rescue a husband in distress.

Building houses, farming, developing hybrid rice.

Making salt, building ships, inventing bullets and gunpowder.

The current emperor is only sixteen, yet deeply shrewd. He fought his way through a crowd of uncles and cousins to secure the throne, and is not to be underestimated.

One night, the college student quietly leans close to his husband's ear and whispers, "Actually, I'm not from your era. You mustn't tell anyone."

His husband smiles gently. "Mm."

Later, the college student passes the imperial examinations and makes it all the way to the palace exam. When he looks up at the throne, he thinks...

Huh? Why does that look so much like my wife?

After that, a series of things that should not exist in that era appear in the Kingdom of Chu. The nation grows prosperous and powerful, and envoys from every land come to pay tribute.
