[Western Crossover] Bruce Says He's Not Batman

On the superhero forum, one question has always ranked at the top: "What's it like living in Gotham?" Bruce really wants to answer it now: Thanks for asking. I'm in Gotham, and I just got down from a gargoyle. I opened my eyes to find myself at the highest point in Gotham. Torrential rain poured down as lightning flashed and thunder roared. I just want to say, I am vengeance, I am the night, I am... Ahem. I'm getting sidetracked. All in all, it's actually not bad. It'd be even better if I hadn't discovered that my memories had been wiped. Bruce stood atop the gargoyle, looking down over the gray city. There was no head of Gotham's wealthiest family here, no Brucie Baby. There was only Bruce Wayne, a newly minted nouveau riche. And Batman, making his first appearance. Bluebird had just taken flight over a Bludhaven rooftop, while Red Robin, wearing a bucket on his head, raised a crowbar against a gang of thugs. A young detective listlessly tapped away at a keyboard, while a novice assassin drew his long blade. The Boy of Tomorrow, a future scientist, a World War II soldier, a Greek demigod... This world was missing a knight, a Dark Knight. [System loading... Loading complete.] [Hey, you're awake? I've been standing here posing for you for ages.] [Hello, Bruce Wayne. I am System 1048.] [As a beginner's bonus, you've inherited a huge fortune and a butler who will be loyal to you forever.] [Primary mission: Become Batman.] [Mission guide: As this city's vigilante, you need to introduce yourself to them.] [Mission requirement: Beat up the Joker. Time limit: twenty minutes.] [Honestly, you actually had the choice of a romance system or a save-the-world system, but I think you can have both.] But you sure as hell didn't tell me these people love making things dramatic. Bruce remained expressionless. "I'm not Batman. I'm really not." This world was incomplete. It had once been destroyed. Now it had been reborn. tips: 1. The original blurb is scrapped. 2. The CP is probably the one suggested by the blurb. No Robins, just proper father-son affection. Theme: Heroes never die
