Shao Chen, a young artist with extraordinary talent, has occupied a place in the international high-end jewelry design field in just three years.
His gloomy and handsome appearance, coupled with his limitless future, attracted countless interested people to flock to him——
Then they all looked away and retreated three feet, scattering like birds and beasts.
There is no other reason.
Due to severe brain damage, Shao Chen is unable to produce normal emotional fluctuations.
He does not understand ordinary people's communication, lacks empathy, and is mean and cold-blooded. Even at the funeral of his mentor, he could express indifferently:
"Isn't life meant to die?"
The media called him a social misfit.
Only Sui Ranning, who he interacted closely with on the show, said otherwise.
"Working with Shao Chen will give you a feeling of healing." He told the media with a smile, "Because he is very simple, like a small animal!"

Sui Ranning has been in the industry for many years, and her public image is innocent and friendly, and her smile is like sunshine.
Quite the opposite is true.
His physical and mental state is extremely unstable, and he has struggled to maintain the illusion for a long time, just out of the need to protect himself in the fame and fortune fair, and a heavy self-esteem that is multiple times higher than ordinary people.
Everyone is a performance object, except Shao Chen.
Shao Chen will not sympathize or judge. In front of him, Sui Ranning can be honest about everything, showing her darkness and vulnerability without feeling embarrassed. The two hit it off immediately: Shao Chen regarded him as the muse and carrier of his gloomy art, while he regarded Shao Chen as a shelter for dependence.
Perfect fit, everyone gets what they need.
Until soon, Shao Chen will undergo surgery with a slim chance of success.
But once he succeeds, he will be no different from ordinary people again.

Sui Ranning tossed and turned and decided that if the operation was successful, he would completely disappear from Shao Chen's world with all his dark side.
But all signs indicate that the operation failed.
So as usual, Sui Ranning allowed Shao Chen to enter the room and fell asleep in front of him without any precautions.
Therefore, Shao Chen slowly lowered his head without seeing it.
His expression was complicated, his eyes were heavy, and his fingers were placed on Sui Ranning's pale chin and side of her neck. When they were rubbing, the shadows shrouded her like a wild beast patrolling.
He said softly: "Good night, Ranran."
