I. [Completion Announcement and Updated Reader Advisory]
This is a work of fantasy set in a world with [mixed sexual orientations] and [reversed mainstream sexual orientations]. All humans have uteruses. Same-sex couples can reproduce, while different-sex couples are infertile. All social structures, customs, and power relations are based on this premise.
This work contains experimental elements, including but not limited to thought experiments and performance art. It is not intended to offend any real individuals or groups. All text concerns only the fictional society in the novel's world. If you feel that anything is incomplete or unreasonable, you are welcome to discuss it in a friendly manner.
Some gender-related content may touch on sensitive social issues, but please note that none of the four genders in the story correspond to the mainstream genders of the real world. “Yang” and “Yin” are unique products of a social-Darwinist worldview; “male” and “female” are not entirely the same species as real-world humans. This work should not be used to make any real-world generalizations.
All discussion threads and highlighted comments are part of the story. Please read them to follow the plot. (Note from 2025.9.21: After the moderators cleaned up the comment section, much of the content lost its context. Readers who arrive after the story is finished probably won't be able to understand everything TT. The comment section after the serial ended is a little like the stage set after a play (?). Feel free to take a look if you're interested. I recommend using the bonus chapters' posting timeline to help make sense of it.)
I would like to thank all the readers who participated in the story's interactive elements. Its twists and turns would not have been possible without your enthusiasm, tolerance, and understanding.
II. [Serial-era Blurb, Reader Advisory Below Preserved for the Record]
On Valentine's Day, as usual, I wrote a card for my childhood friend Lu Qi. It was beautifully worded and unsigned, and the student council delivered it.
Everyone excitedly speculated: “Who could have sent it?”
I calmly ate my lunch while they guessed every boy in the grade, naturally skipping over me, since I was a girl.
After all,
people might not immediately think of it,
but besides boys, girls who like boys include straight girls. :)
[Serial-era Reader Advisory]
1. A reversed sexual-orientation setting. It is categorized as BG according to the website's rules, but includes BL/GL background elements and side plots. The heroine is basically the only straight character with a significant role in the whole story. Read with caution if that's not your thing.
2. First person, rough and colloquial writing, with the skill of an elementary school student. The heroine's childish rambling diary-style narration is everywhere.
3. This is a free story with experimental elements. The heroine knows she is a character in a novel and will communicate with readers.
4. The character “Author Yunshan” has appeared. She will automatically ignore comments addressed to the real “Author Yunshan,” and will perform actions such as asking for leave, deleting comments, replying, and revising the story outside the main text and author's notes. All characters except the System may lie. Any author reply not labeled “real author” may come from the character Author Yunshan.
5. All deleted or revised content will be restored after the story is complete.
6. During serialization, readers who wish to participate may become part of the story to varying degrees, depending on how appropriate their comments are. Your level of participation, responsiveness, critical thinking, teamwork with the heroine, and creativity will determine the outcome of certain plot points. Regardless of your intentions, there is a chance the heroine may make you her enemy, temporarily or permanently.
7. During serialization, only the blurb and the author's note for Chapter 1 are not part of the story. If something unexpected happens, don't panic. Highlighted comments are incorporated into the plot, so reading them is recommended. Readers have also developed side plots in the comments section. They are presented nonlinearly, and if you don't follow along as they appear, it may take considerable time and effort to compare and understand them in order to follow some plot points. Alternatively, see the [Atalia Log Thread] in Chapter 40.
8. This story has a world where people with both reproductive systems are equal. The language follows the worldbuilding, so commonly used Chinese characters with the female radical are mostly absent. As a result, the author has coined some common words, forms of address, and grammatical conventions. Please bear with them if they feel unfamiliar. The genders described in the story are unique to this setting; neither “female” nor “yin” is fully equivalent to women in the real world.
9. No further content warnings will be provided.
10. To avoid things going off the rails, this interactive design is actually quite conservative. The completion date is undecided; there will be advance notice in the blurb.

Oh this is us Phoebe! By the way, what is the configuration of "Friends" in the strange world?
Music box handle! There is a sharp knife inside! [Please] Oh my God.
After reading this time, I finally thought of asking! In Chapter 79, Qi Liu said, "No matter what you say, I will strictly comply with it only if Lao Xia has said it once." But in the end, he did not say why, which is understandable but quite curious. Also, after this complete reprint, I did not find that many comments were deleted. My memory has faded after all (sad). However, I don't seem to have seen the full version of the author's note. Is it because it was not sent out during the serialization or it is a deleted comment.
Hey, did the pretend reporter Rainbow Fart from Luxury (June) at that time and the author ruthlessly expose it?
Alas, Wu Yuan...
Looking at childhood memories from an adult perspective, it actually feels a bit sad. (Strictly speaking, Qi Liu is not an adult yet, but it's more or less the same)
(Surprisingly... I really didn't expect it)
This is so interesting. The essence of interactive writing is to allow readers to fully use their power to change the protagonist's life, and it can be fun to save or destroy. If there are too many readers, there will be too many opinions and it will be too noisy. If there are too few readers, it won't be fun. This is just right now.
Fun! When will there be new ones to play? I want to play this one!
"I still can't remember my time in high school" is a big thorn in the side of the author~
Do you still remember~
Perhaps this is the only (forced) twist in the entire text hh
