[Wuxia Crossover] Choosing a Husband

Please check out my ongoing novel: The Princess's Guide to Becoming Ruler Sui Mingzhu transmigrates. In a time of chaos, instead of becoming a poor commoner or servant, she is lucky enough to be born into the royal family. She is the only daughter of the ruler of Xu. Her husband is a marquis, exceptionally intelligent and talented. Her sworn younger brother is a mighty general, brave beyond compare. With the ruler at death's door, he asks her at his bedside: “Which of these two do you believe should inherit the throne?” If she chooses her consort, she will take her place in the palace and be honored as queen. If she chooses her sworn younger brother, she will rank alongside the feudal lords and be honored as Grand Princess. Twenty-five-year-old Sui Mingzhu clings to her last lifeline, lowering her head in grief, a cold glint in her eyes beneath the shadows. She has two dreams. She honors her consort as ruler, and he makes his beloved concubine's son crown prince. She has no children and is turned into a human pig in the Cold Palace. She honors her sworn younger brother as ruler, and he entrusts her with the fate of her family and country, sending her far away to marry into the Turkic Khaganate, where she dies a tragic death. Purple lightning splits the sky. Wind and rain rage, and candlelight flickers in the magnificent palace. “Your daughter chooses...” Much later, Sui Mingzhu takes that hard, cold seat. The world submits, and envoys from every direction come to pay their respects. Beneath the crown beads, her expression is resolute. Father, I choose myself.
