Before leaving for Hogwarts, Flora's mother, Mrs. Elizabeth, solemnly told her, "I think that, having inherited my intelligence, you are bound to be a Ravenclaw. And the most important thing for a proper Ravenclaw is..."
"What is it, Mom?" Flora asked humbly.
"You need to have a little Hufflepuff of your own!"
So Flora, remembering her mother's advice, accidentally bumped into a brown-haired, gray-eyed boy on the train and fell into his arms. Looking at his shy red ears and dewy eyes, Flora decided: This must be her little Hufflepuff.
Later, what Flora was most grateful for was that she had found her very own little Hufflepuff before anything had happened.
