With tears in her eyes, Hetty accepted the Eye of Agamotto and the red cloak from her dying father, thinking she would now have to save the world.
But Earth-666 was still shattered by the malice of the universe.
Hetty fell into a parallel universe.
Her first order of business was to find her father (sort of) on Baker Street in London. Though her parallel-world father (?) had a head of thick curls, a sharp tongue, and a haughty streak, and had somehow become the world's greatest detective, Hetty still loved him.
One day, when the Ancient One led Stephen, who had only just become an unknown little sorcerer, out of the library and through a portal into 221B Baker Street,
two similar horse-like faces stared at each other.
Hetty: ?! (cat ears pinned back in guilt)
Daily life and such...
Feeling something strange on her backside,
a certain famous caramel-sweetie cast a suspicious glance at the popsicle beside her.
a certain Gotham flower silently listed Plan B, C, and D.
a certain busty sweetheart blushed bright red.
a certain handsome little professor with thick hair looked helpless.
a certain god among men hurriedly wrapped himself up.
Much later...
Hetty: "The cloak made the first move!"
Everyone: "Yeah, right."
Always taking the blame for her own cloak, Hetty: "My life is so hard."
