Run Yu and Ouyang Shaogong: An Old Friend Returns

Blurb: As a divine descendant of the Heavenly Realm, Run Yu has always upheld the Heavenly Way. He slays fierce beasts, destroys Penglai, descends to the mortal realm, eliminates the demon clan, and acts with benevolence and righteousness. He becomes the First Highness, revered by all the immortals, and Lord Chu, admired by the people. Lofty, pure, and noble, he nonetheless fails the one young love that ever moved his heart. Only when Ouyang Shaogong completely overturns the Heavenly Way he has sworn to protect does he awaken from his long dream. Taking up the Frostclear Sword, he resolutely drives it into Ouyang Shaogong's chest. Yaoshan, Xiangyin, Qinchuan, life after life, Run Yu makes his way to Changqin, even when only a cold, lingering soul remains. He will keep him by his side forever, from dusk to dawn. Across these vast mountains and seas of clouds, he'll share an umbrella with him and return through the misty rain. Notes: 1. Run Yu x Ouyang Shaogong. (Ouyang Shaogong is Crown Prince Changqin. They are the same person.) 2. This is based solely on the characters. Please don't conflate them with the actors themselves. 3. A story written to fulfill a personal sense of regret, for the author's own satisfaction. Theme: The world changes eternally, and there is no avoiding it.
