How to Raise a Miracle Chirp

Back when Tamagotchi were popular, Xiang Qizhou had a digital pet bird and named it Le Rong.

Eventually, it was forgotten in a corner and never played with again.

Le Rong waited in the black-and-white digital world for over a decade, slowly developing self-awareness.

He transmigrated out of the digital world and into the real one.

Le Rong possessed the pet bird someone had given Xiang Qizhou.

On the first night Xiang Qizhou brought the bird home, the ferocious, bad-tempered bird pecked him on the head several times.

Xiang Qizhou winced. "This bird is so aggressive. I'll return it tomorrow!"

Le Rong panicked. "You wouldn't dare throw me away!"

Xiang Qizhou was confused. "? How can a bird talk?"

Furious, Le Rong opened his beak and cursed him out. "You heartless jerk! Don't get a pet if you can't take responsibility for it!"

Xiang Qizhou discovered that the little bird was all bark and no bite, and so adorable he couldn't help falling for it.

After Xiang Qizhou teased him until he couldn't get mad anymore, Le Rong instantly turned back into a pet bird, leaving Xiang Qizhou with nothing but empty arms.

Xiang Qizhou kissed a mouthful of feathers and said irritably, "Rongrong, turn back into a person."

Le Rong's ears turned red. "No. You're a pervert!"

Xiang Qizhou: "Then I'll show you what a real pervert is."

Reader's guide:

1. I'm writing this for fun, so it probably won't update daily. It'll only be 30,000 words, just to plant a tree.

2. The gong and shou only have eyes for each other. They're both virgins, and this is a sweet 1v1 romance with an older gong.

3. Le Rong is the shou, Xiang Qizhou is the gong. The bird can turn into a person or a bird. He turns into a person when they kiss.
