Everyday Life Running a Shop in the Anime World

Li Sang inherits a strange little shop. The taciturn employee always carries a wooden sword? The shop's pet appears and disappears at will, and can even transform? Worst of all, the little shop keeps transmigrating from time to time? So, as the shopkeeper, his everyday life gradually takes on an unusual flair: Sometimes his first customer is a superpowered boy obsessed with coffee pudding, while the next is a gentle high schooler buying steamed buns with a beckoning cat in his arms. Sometimes, in the morning, he's serving juice to a grade-schooler who never grows up at a family restaurant in Beika Town, and by evening, he's in the mountains of the Taisho era, reminding a boy who sells charcoal to be extra careful on the road. Most of the time, he's just Shopkeeper Sang, who's good at cooking. Every so often, he moonlights as a mysterious wish-granting shopkeeper... One customer after another comes through his door. What he loves most is seeing the surprised look on a customer's face when they taste good food, or hearing them blurt out, after a hot drink on a tiring day: "So warm." Note: 1) This is probably just a simple story about me passing through your worlds and finding a little warmth along the way. 2) I'll do my best to tell the story I have in mind, but there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand readers' eyes. Derivative works may inevitably be OOC, so if it's not what you imagined, please be gentle. 3) Everyday life, no outline. I'll write whatever comes to mind. A preview of an upcoming story Bai Nanpei dreamed of the past again. In the dream, Mo Xiaoling looked pale and dazed, then gave a self-mocking smile. "Lately, I suddenly feel like I've never truly lived freely." After saying those words, Mo Xiaoling fell from a high-rise. Everyone said he had taken his own life because Gong Bucheng had abandoned him. With pitying yet contemptuous voices, they said he was nothing but a stand-in kept as a canary, yet had foolishly hoped for true love. How laughably cowardly and melodramatic. Only Bai Nanpei couldn't accept it. He and Mo Xiaoling had known each other since they were boys, and he still remembered the young man's proud, radiant expression. Because he knew what Mo Xiaoling had once been like, because he had once loved that boy, he refused to believe it. He couldn't accept that Mo Xiaoling had become someone else's canary, much less believe that he had died for love. Especially not for another man. Seeking answers, Bai Nanpei began investigating and finally learned how Mo Xiaoling had been driven to his death, step by step. Bai Nanpei resolved to take revenge. He fought Gong Bucheng to the bitter end, until he died defeated and destitute. But after his death, his consciousness suddenly awakened, and he learned the real truth. The world was nothing more than a melodramatic novel written by someone else. He and Mo Xiaoling were merely stepping stones to make Gong Bucheng stronger. When he opened his eyes again, he had been reborn on the day he was about to part ways with Mo Xiaoling. Nothing had happened yet. There was still time. Bai Nanpei decided to save himself. And to save the boy he loved dearly. Then he discovered that after being reborn, he could see the original text and its comments. Whenever he tried to change his fate, locked sections of the original text would unlock too, and the plot would change along with them. He left a message in the comments, saying he had returned from the dead. The comments section exploded. Theme: Give someone a rose, and its fragrance stays on your hands.
