Stop Making Trouble

The first time Yu Ruo met Lu Zhao,

she stood in front of him with a drawing board on her back and reluctantly called him "big brother."

"Who's your big brother?" The man bent down, tugged on her backpack strap, and smiled at her. "Call me Uncle."

Yu Ruo thought he was awful back then. Later, she thought she was awful, too.

Because she knew perfectly well that Lu Zhao was no good, yet hopelessly fell in love with him anyway.

Everyone knew there was a little girl in the family who could paint.

Whenever anyone asked about her, he would dismiss it with a shrug. "She's just a kid."

Five years later, Yu Ruo returned from abroad.

The girl was fair-skinned and beautiful, with a gorgeous figure. She hovered around Lu Zhao every day, making her feelings painfully obvious.

His friends teased him, saying he wouldn't last long before giving in.

Lu Zhao sneered. "If I've ever had designs on her, I'll let you kick my head around like a ball."

Until one day, Yu Ruo showed up at his bar with a man.

The girl gave him a flirtatious look and smiled as she introduced them. "Uncle, this is my boyfriend."

Lu Zhao stared at her expressionlessly and said nothing.

That night, everyone saw the usually callous Lu Zhao sitting in a corner of the bar, watching the girl at the next table chat and laugh with someone else. Cigarette butts littered the floor.

His friend asked, "So, should we expect your head?"

Lu Zhao said, "Get lost."

At the celebration banquet, with everyone watching, Yu Ruo drunkenly tugged on Lu Zhao's tie. "Stay away from me from now on."

The next second,

Lu Zhao pulled Yu Ruo straight into his arms.

"What am I going to do?" The man leaned close to her ear and chuckled. "It's not up to you."
