I Must Be Living in a Dream (Bungo Stray Dogs)

Between darkness and the far shore, you are the only anchor I have in this life.

A blurb I made up on the spot:

After working myself to the bone in the Port Mafia for years, I finally saved enough to retire.

I figured I'd leave my inheritance to Atsushi after I died, so I buried myself in the ground and pretended to be a corpse devoid of feelings.

While I was asleep, my former boss blew up my villa.

...Well, I had no choice but to forgive him.

Then he dug me up again, because he wanted to save his boyfriend [crossed out] best friend.

After finally bringing his best friend back to life, I was delighted to discover that my dear Atsushi had come to Yokohama.

But before I could even catch a glimpse of the little tiger, my asshole former boss buried me again.

On the self-cultivation of a tool [crossed out]

On the rotten nature of a black-hearted boss

The protagonist will get a convenient ability midway through, then the blurb's plot will happen.

Stream-of-consciousness style, rambling daily life, no main plot or outline.

No CP. Chuunibyou wish fulfillment, written like an elementary schooler daydreaming.

First time writing. A true beginner's work, be warned.

Theme: You still have to keep living
