The Little Mermaid Is Addicted to Cultivation

The Little Mermaid dreamed of possessing an immortal soul.

So she rescued a prince who had been shipwrecked.

Who knew the prince would tell her, "Go, travel to the distant East, beyond the clouds and mountains. There you'll find the mysterious power of the East!"

The Little Mermaid boarded a ship and set off on a long journey east.

At the harbor, she bought a talking green snake from an Indian merchant who performed with snakes.

Green Snake: "You're going to the East? What a coincidence, that's where I'm from. What should you call me? Just call me 'A Qing.'"

And so the Little Mermaid gained a companion... who was sometimes male and sometimes female.

At last, she set foot on Eastern soil.

What was going on? The Mount Tai where the legendary immortal lived was packed with people? The emperor was performing the Fengshan ceremony?

"An auspicious omen! An auspicious omen!" The ministers cried out, "Long live the emperor!" three times.

The emperor was delighted, while the Daoist priest Xiaoyaozi standing beside him smiled and stroked his beard.

"This mermaid maiden is already a disciple of my Xiaoyao Sect."

From then on, the martial world gained a fish fairy obsessed with cultivating immortality.

I, Yuyu, have no feelings. I only want to become an immortal.

But for some reason, my senior and junior sisters and junior brother all love to surround me. And what's with that green snake?

* The heroine is a heartthrob to all, meaning she's popular with both men and women.

* This story mixes martial arts, court politics, history, and legends. The settings are all jumbled together and the timeline is a mess. It's just a wild, fun romp, so please don't take it seriously or connect it to real history.

* Keywords: The Little Mermaid, Legend of the White Snake, Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, The Peerless Twins, works related to Wen Rui'an, Water Margin, The Legend of the Condor Heroes, Titanic...

* Pairing with the Green Snake. The romance is subtle, and an unromantic nonhuman gets into unconventional immortal cultivation.

Just enjoy the story, and don't overthink it.
