[The Golden Age] Clotilda I (Revised)

“The Virgin Queen,” Claudia I, was famous for saying:

“I have devoted my entire life to my homeland.”

“This is the age of Claudia von Auserlese. What I will bring you is the Golden Age of Claudia I.”

Everyone admired and adored her, yet no one could truly enter her heart.

Only Oliver I, the empire’s unconventional emperor, looked at her with admiration and compassion.

“My cruel little Kloss.”

They had both experienced the loss and death of family and friends, and the bond between them was unbreakable.

This is a fanfic about Estelle’s Trails in the Sky friend, Kloe, and Olivier! But the story has gone entirely off on its own, and has little to do with the original game. It’s full of my own original ideas.

There’s plenty of melodrama, deaths, and historical material (you can tell from the title), as well as all kinds of political and military plot holes. Please don’t worry about them, just enjoy the story!

Falcom left so many plot threads dangling that I’ve just ignored some of them. The cult, the Sept-Terrions, and so on basically won’t appear... Just think of this as a parallel world...

I originally posted this under my old account. I’ve now revised it and moved it to my new account, mainly to tweak the details and polish the writing. I wrote it before Trails of Cold Steel came out, so please don’t mind if parts don’t match the current games!

I’m not entering it in any rankings. This is just for keeping a record and making revisions.

If you don’t mind that, and if you haven’t read it before, feel free to enjoy!
