[Preorder for my historical romance, Chang'an Scheme. Blurb at the end~]
At fifteen, Xu Yizhan took the imperial military exam on her master's behalf and came away with the top honors.
When she entered the Golden Throne Hall, the emperor personally appointed her Crown Prince's Grand Tutor.
At their first meeting, the twelve-year-old crown prince smiled like a spring breeze, treating worthy men with humble courtesy. Xu Yizhan thought he certainly lived up to his title. But when she turned around, she discovered that the rumors in the capital claiming she was unworthy of her post had originated in the Eastern Palace.
Xu Yizhan found it amusing. On the eve of taking up her post, she looked at the crown prince, who was said to be gentle, harmless, humble, and easy to bully. "I hear someone doubts that I deserve my position."
The crown prince blinked innocently and declared righteously, "Who would cause such trouble? Sir, punish them severely!"
Xu Yizhan gave a cold laugh and hefted a cauldron weighing a thousand jun. "Since Your Highness has promised, I shall go settle the score with that person at once!"
The crown prince was so terrified he nearly fainted. He was about to gently talk her down when Xu Yizhan casually set the giant cauldron down and knelt before him with brisk precision.
"I have served at court only a short while. I seek no advancement and will remain true to my original intention."
"And now that I have the honor of serving Your Highness, Your Highness is my original intention."
After they married.
Chu Wanling finally found the garment bearing the words "Imperial rations are the best" in Xu Yizhan's precious wardrobe. Turning to her with a deeply aggrieved expression, she asked, "What is this?"
Xu Yizhan glanced at it. "My original intention."
"You used to say I was your original intention."
"In the Golden Throne Hall, I also said that peace for the realm and a long life for His Majesty were my original intention."
Chu Wanling gritted her teeth. "I'll burn it right now."
Xu Yizhan sneered. "It's a keepsake from my late master."
Chu Wanling froze, then placed it on a high seat and bowed respectfully. "My father-in-law's calligraphy flows with the grace of dragons and phoenixes. Even this small glimpse reveals his extraordinary talent. This son-in-law is truly impressed!"
A gentle, refined, secretly calculating crown prince x a high-powered martial artist and female tutor in disguise as a man
A few things to know, which may also count as warnings:
1. Older woman, younger man. The female lead is three years older than the male lead.
2. An alternate world, very much an alternate world.
3. "Grand Tutor" in the title refers to the Crown Prince's Grand Tutor.

[Blurb below]
The land is in turmoil. The old dynasty has fallen, and warlords rise on all sides.
The hermit Guishan Zi is peerless in wisdom and courage, with no equal in the world.
He founded a school and took on countless pupils, and all four kingdoms consider it an honor to bring one of his disciples into their courts.
At ten, Zhu Chang'an was separated from her family. Then war broke out, and she lost her memories of the past.
Fortunately, her senior fellow disciple found her and brought her from the ruins to Mount Gui, where she became a pupil of Guishan Zi.
Five years after her senior fellow disciple left the mountain, Zhu Chang'an followed in his footsteps. She bid farewell to her school as its top student, entering the world with grand ambitions and dazzling everyone.
According to rumors, she would serve the emperor, Guan Pei: at seventeen, he made a mass grave; at twenty, he murdered his father and seized the throne; at twenty-three, he killed his own younger brother.
He was capricious and bloodthirsty, believed in neither gods nor Buddha, and feared no judgment from history. Even in this age of chaos, he was a rare kind of tyrant.
At their first audience, the tyrant had just finished practicing his swordsmanship. In the midst of his busy schedule, he spared her a dismissive glance. "That's it?"
Zhu Chang'an couldn't let it go. She stayed up all night writing An Address to the Emperor, angrily listing more than ten flaws in the kingdom.
The next day, Zhu Chang'an received an imperial decree. The tyrant dispatched her to the frontier army to oversee construction of the Great Wall.
-
Three years later, with frequent battles on the frontier, Guan Pei personally led an expedition. Before the admiring, reverent gaze of all the soldiers, he met Zhu, the military strategist whom they adored and revered as a goddess.
The tyrant's eyes lit up. "Well, look at that."
Zhu Chang'an hid her face behind her fan and smiled ominously at him, waiting for the tyrant to regret everything and send a grand sedan chair to bring her back to take charge at court.
The tyrant said, "What a pretty fan."
A goofy, sweet, straightforward tyrant (maybe?) x a brilliant, loyal, courageous female strategist
Theme: A relationship only means something when both people choose each other.
It was really well written. Everyone performed their duties but had different stances. In the end, they finally broke up.
Woo woo woo, they all left one by one.
It's a good article. The number of collections and readings is much smaller than expected. It's so strange.
After buying v, I regretted it for a while when I saw the middle part, because I felt that I was outside the plot. But after reading this ending, I don't regret it anymore. Thank you to the author for writing such a good article. It's really worth it. From now on, I have a deeper understanding of the word "prosperity".
The author writes really well
It's pretty good, but it feels a bit cruel? And it does feel a little bit in places. . It's just a bit baffling. Anyway, good luck to the author.
The ending was sudden and the article was very enjoyable.
So great, so great! ! Keep up the great work!
It was quite shocking to see the end. In the end, things almost changed. Alas, I really like Fang Yuan! ! !
The end of "Spreading Flowers" ~ It's really a pity that there is no extra episode, I really want to see the daily life of raising cubs
