Shu Yu is blind. He runs an orphanage and takes in many children nobody else wants. There's a short-tempered, fluffy creature that's incredibly satisfying to pet. There's a sharp-toothed little fish who sings to him in the middle of the night to soothe him to sleep. There's a little bird that can breathe fire and spit water, and even grills skewers for him to eat, with extra cumin! There's also a little girl who sleeps by day and is active by night. Whenever Shu Yu has a nightmare, she rushes into his dream to save him from danger. Oh, and this little girl likes red dresses. Shu Yu has made her lots of them. And many, many others. They can be naughty, quiet, or rambunctious, but they're all children Shu Yu personally found and raised. They obediently call him "Director Shu." But one day, every child in Shu Yu's orphanage vanished without a trace overnight. Shu Yu panicked. He asked everyone he met, "Have you seen my kids? They're super cute and super well-behaved." Then he entered an infinite game. In the game, he regained his sight. Inside a seaside castle perched on a cliff amid thunder, rain, and crashing waves, Shu Yu clearly saw a disheveled female ghost floating in midair. Lightning illuminated her pale, sinister face as she slowly approached the game player screaming in terror. She stopped in front of Shu Yu. As the other players looked on in horror, she grabbed Shu Yu's hand. The blood on her fingertips left a bright red handprint on his fair wrist. Then she put away her chilling, eerie grin. Her clear red eyes filled with tears. "Papa Director, they tore my dress and pushed me into the mud. The little dress you gave me is so dirty. Can you get me a new one?" The watching players: "???" * Shu Yu was completely bewildered. His fluffy creature was a mountain monster that ate children one after another. His little bird was a fearsome Jiuying. His little fish was a mermaid who took lives with her beauty and singing. His little girl in red was a ghost. It turned out all his little ones were monsters. But Shu Yu soon calmed down. So what if they were little monsters? They were still the children he'd raised. How could the children he'd brought up have bad intentions? Shu Yu discovered that all the children from his orphanage were in this game. The game was eerie and dangerous, and the slightest mistake could cost them their lives. His little ones were constantly getting beaten up and bullied, too (other players: ?) He had to take all the children home! * One day, among a thicket of thorny roses, Shu Yu came across a young man. The boy had red lips, pearly teeth, and delicate features. He was covered in blood, while thorny branches bound him and sank into his flesh, feeding the lush, fragrant rose garden surrounding them. Shu Yu bent down, wiped the blood from the boy's cheek, and said with sympathy, "Poor baby. Come home with me." Bound by thorns, the boy stared at him coldly in silence. Suddenly, Shu Yu was bound by a cluster of tough, razor-sharp branches and delivered to the boy. "Come home with you?" The boy's red lips curled into a dazzling, bloodthirsty smile. "All right." Shu Yu: ...Did I get the wrong kid? * NPCs in the infinite game have no names, only numbers. The smaller the number, the more dangerous the NPC. But the first number on the list was 7. Because NPCs 1 through 6 had been wiped out by Number 7 long ago. Everyone in the game knew that even if you ran into NPC Number 8, you might get lucky and escape with a few limbs missing. But if you came across the game's only god-tier roaming NPC, Number 7... Sorry, the game records showed that in all the years since its launch, nobody had ever survived. Zero Seven had been a monster for as long as he could remember. Everyone feared and hated him, wishing they could get rid of him as soon as possible. One day, a young man entered his rose garden. The young man's crisp white shirt was spotless, and he wore a bright, warm smile. He gently asked if Zero Seven wanted to go home with him.
