Love Letters Above the Clouds

A bold, badass female pilot x a cool, aloof flight dispatcher Pilot Sang Ye thinks her colleague Ji Jiachen is a little bit crazy. Once, while flying, she snapped back at a stranger's malicious provocation over the radio. After landing, the dispatcher on duty, Ji Jiachen, called her in for a warning and presented her with a bonus package: grounded and docked pay. She lets bygones be bygones and prepares to explain the whole story to Ji Jiachen properly. But Ji Jiachen just stays cold and unmoved. All communication unrelated to flying is strictly prohibited before landing. Sorry, I didn't hear anyone provoking you. That's right, I'm hard of hearing. Sang Ye: ... - Later, Sang Ye becomes a captain. As Ji Jiachen pins her epaulets on, he frowns and asks, "You asked that 'really fresh-faced' young pilot out to dinner during preflight yesterday?" Sang Ye shrugs. "Oh, I forgot you were listening on that channel. I'll switch channels before I ask him out next time." Ji Jiachen: "Captain Sang, don't you think that's a bit much?" Sang Ye chuckles. "Sorry, I didn't hear you. That's right, I'm hard of hearing, too." This is the story of a hard-of-hearing couple taking on the world (not really). =Reading Tips= 1. One-on-one romance, happy ending, silly and sweet, with limited logic. 2. Sang Ye: That Ji guy is crazy. Seriously. 3. One of a dispatcher's main jobs is to cheer pilots on (in all kinds of ways :D), except when Sang Ye is asking a handsome young guy out. Theme: ~
