After Falling for the Scheming Sickly Man's Tricks

Bold and spirited general's daughter x gentle, jade-like, scheming sickly young lord After her family was wronged and her father died, only two people kept Fu Anzhi struggling to survive in this world. The first was the most terrifying "ghost" in the capital. He wore a hideous mask and wielded a gold saber with a sandalwood hilt. Cruel, sinister, vicious, and merciless, he trampled through the blood of the Fu family and slaughtered every last member of the household. If she could not kill her enemy with her own hands, she would be unworthy of being a daughter of the Fu family. The second was Prince Xiang, Su Wencong. Prince Xiang was frail and chronically ill, yet he was the gentlest and kindest person in the world. Though she and the prince had been at odds at first, after the Fu family was massacred, His Highness Prince Xiang set aside their past grievances and treated her with endless patience and care. Fu Anzhi cherished this bond forged through hardship with great care. She worried he might get hurt, be treated poorly, or suffer even the slightest misfortune. Once she had avenged her family, she was willing to stay by Prince Xiang's side and protect him, so he could enjoy peace and safety year after year. But it all came to an abrupt end on a pitch-black night. The wind whipped icy snow into her face, leaving her stunned. She watched helplessly as the face beneath the hideous mask of the Sandalwood Saber Ghost slowly revealed Prince Xiang's features. His smiling eyes and brows, so familiar from before, had never seemed so strange to her. "Anzhi, come here." "The wind and snow are so cold. You should come to my side." =Reading Tips= 1.
