No One Can Stop Me from Studying Hard

Introducing my new story, Higuchi Quits the Mafia

Higuchi discovers that her portrait has been printed on five-thousand-yen bills circulating across the country, making her the first ordinary woman in the country to appear on a banknote!

She's thrilled, she's shocked... and then she wakes up laughing.

Back to reality, she's still an unrecognized member of the mafia, disregarded by both her subordinates and superiors: an executive with no supernatural ability.

Working weekends, no days off all year. Higuchi: Fine.

There are no difficult jobs, only brave workers!

Then the boss summons her for a "chat," and Higuchi steps inside that black building for the first time.

She rides an elevator that seems to go straight to the peak of Mount Everest. At the summit... no, on the top floor, she finds herself in a dim, endless space, facing a man seated at the other end of an eight-meter-long dining table...

In an instant, enlightenment strikes: As long as she works hard, the boss can live the life he wants.

No one knows what happened that day.

Because Executive Higuchi resigned.

After handing in her resignation, Higuchi secretly vows: If she ever gets another chance, she'll never be a wage slave again!

Later, Higuchi, who made that vow, sits in a corner of a train car filled with hideous creatures that look like aliens, grotesque and terrifying...

She looks down at the exam paper in her hands and falls silent.

So when the strongest duo from the technical college arrives at the rear carriage, where curses are running rampant, they find a prim, fragile-looking blonde high school girl about to be attacked.

Just as a curse is about to devour her, she slaps it flying.

The girl swings her backpack. "I told you I have a deadline. I don't have time to play with a bunch of brats like you."

So much for prim and fragile!

The former wage slave is suddenly a student. Executive Higuchi: Fuck!!

Story Blurb:

One day, Minamimori Shirocha, who is wholeheartedly devoted to studying, suddenly discovers that the world she's lived in for years contains all sorts of things that science can't explain!

For example, she sees the incredibly cute little sister of a certain upperclassman, who has a flying yellow plush toy and transforms into a magical girl?!

A pink-haired boy with a lollipop on his head is there one second, then vanishes into thin air at a train station the next...

After she gets home, she takes several practice exams before she can calm down.

That's not all. She also discovers that the friends around her who don't care much for studying aren't ordinary people either!

And one after another, they invite her to join their teams:

"Minamimori, the only ones who can beat me are myself and you."

"...Whatever makes you happy."

"Shirocha, you have to watch Rikkai High win its third consecutive championship."

"??"

"Hey, classmate, want to become a 'Little Giant' together?"

"...No thanks."

"Hey, underclassman, you really like running, don't you!"

"...Who are you?"

Shirocha's response:

You can skip studying if you want, but please don't lead me astray...

Some pink-haired girl: A former magical girl has no right to say that.

P.S. The timeline is a mess, and there are many liberties taken. Everything serves the plot.

There will be out-of-character moments. The heroine is gorgeous and goofy, but doesn't know it.

The pairing depends on fate. Mostly everyday life.

Theme: Youth is perhaps the best years of your life, spent traveling together with a group of friends
