After being laid off, Tang Chuzhi returns home to inherit a grocery store whose backyard leads straight into an ancient world. From then on, Tang Chuzhi's shop sells all kinds of items that can make people's dreams come true, such as sacred wood that can make people smarter.

In Huasheng Residential Community, across the road from the Caijialing Market, an elderly man living alone is found dead. Yi Baiheng discovers that the source of the murder case is unexpectedly connected to a grocery store.

Tang Chuzhi notices someone often lurking around outside his shop, neither buying nor stealing anything. Leaning on the doorframe, he looks down at the person and asks, "Are you interested in me, or in my grocery store?"

Yi Baiheng lights a cigarette and takes a deep drag. Smoke blurs his eyes. "Both. So what?"
