An Lingshuo is the most talented young member of the ancient Spirit Cat Clan. Since he has yet to come of age and must undergo a tribulation, his father dumps him in the mortal world. He has nothing but his bodyguard Cat Jiu, who has been with him since childhood, and a courtyard his father prepared for him. To keep from starving, he promptly opens a cat cafe.
A curious new shop has recently opened in the capital. It has cats that understand human feelings and an adorable owner, and the young ladies of the capital flock to it.
An Ling, the Adorable, Shuo: (squinting) "Shuai Shuai, put down that dried fish in your mouth. What, you refuse? Looks like we'll be having pork at the cat cafe."

The tabby cat, transformed from the Tiger King's grandson, trembles and nods through his tears, cursing his own second uncle again and again in his heart.
The young masters and ladies from the branches of the Spirit Cat Clan watch the many ferocious beasts their boss has tamed and feel delighted.
Cat Jiu places a plate of fresh fruit in front of An Lingshuo. "Master, eat."
An Lingshuo blinks his big, watery eyes and pouts at his tall bodyguard. "A Jiu~ Feed me~"
Cat Jiu, of the Dragon Royal Family's bloodline and his personal bodyguard, keeps a cool expression as he carefully feeds the fruit to his young master.
