Coming soon: I'm Opening a Cat Cafe in Ancient Times
[A chapter drops every day at 20:00. Word count varies.]
Shen Muxing worked her way up to become Empress Dowager, only to be poisoned to death by her own son.
Shen Muxing: Well... that was sudden...
As her soul was about to dissipate, a System called [I'm Your Mother] forcibly bound itself to her soul.
[Greetings, Host. The I'm Your Mother System is at your service.]
Shen Muxing: "I think you're insulting me."
[Regret detected within Host's soul. Would you like to bind with this System? The I'm Your Mother System will tailor missions to your needs. Once you have completed enough missions, you will be able to live again and save your child's world view, which is on the verge of collapse.]
Shen Muxing: "Can I choose not to bind?"
[Binding successful. Host, would you like to begin your first mission?]
Every novel has people who are handsome, brilliant, and good at everything, except that their moral compasses are broken. Their purpose in life is to ruin the romance between the protagonists and destroy the world. Such people are generally known as villainous bosses. Shen Muxing was the mother of a villainous boss in one such novel, and in the end, her own son killed her.
Shen Muxing's mission is to straighten out these villains' twisted values while they are still young.
Shen Muxing: What do you do when a child won't behave? Give them a good beating!
[Host is absolutely right!]
But... why do all these villains have fathers who look exactly alike?

A few things to know:
1. My writing skills equal my intelligence, and my intelligence really isn't great. If you spot a problem, please point it out gently.
2. The main couple is one-on-one. It's mostly about raising children, so romance won't take up much of the story.
3. Seven worlds planned for now. I might end early if I run out of ideas, or write more if inspiration strikes, so please don't get too hung up on the number.
4. Not many people are reading, so I've got time to write a little thank-you bonus scene for everyone who sends a gift. Please don't mind that the scenes are short. (This note will be deleted after the main story is complete.)
An Lingshuo is the most gifted of the younger generation in the ancient spirit-cat clan. Before he has come of age, his father sends him to the mortal world to undergo a tribulation. Apart from Cat Jiu, his personal guard and childhood companion, and the courtyard house his father arranged for him, he has nothing. To keep from starving, he promptly opens a cat cafe.
Recently, an unusual new shop has opened in the capital. It has cats that understand human nature and a sweet, adorable owner. Before long, the capital's noble ladies are flocking to it.
An Ling-shuo, the sweet and adorable one: (Narrowing his eyes) Shuai Shuai, put down the dried fish in your mouth. Don't want to? Looks like we'll be eating pork at the cat cafe.
The young heir of the wild boar clan, who had turned into an orange cat because he couldn't beat An Lingshuo, tearfully puts down the dried fish and sulks.
An Ling-shuo, the sweet and adorable one: (Slowly drawing his knife) Xiao Biao, were you mean to a customer again today? Go stand by the door like a statue for three days. Got it?
The tabby cat, who is the tiger king's little grandson in disguise, trembles and nods through his tears, cursing his second uncle over and over in his heart.
The young masters and ladies of the spirit-cat clan's branches watch all kinds of ferocious beasts being tamed by their boss and feel delighted.
Cat Jiu sets a plate of fresh fruit in front of An Lingshuo. "Master, eat."
An Lingshuo blinks his big, watery eyes and coos at his tall guard, "A-Jiu~ Feed me~"
Cat Jiu, of royal dragon blood and his master's personal guard, maintains a cold expression as he carefully feeds the little master a piece of fruit.
