Apricot Blossoms on the Branches (The Romance of Tiger and Rose)

Canon-compliant, Chen Chuchu x (original) Chen Qianqian.

Unrequited love, do not read if this is a dealbreaker. One-shot.

Inspired by a conversation with a friend. Written overnight and posted on the spot.

Blurb: That night, Chen Qianqian died.

Not long afterward, Chen Chuchu also failed.

No one ever passed by the wall where apricot blossoms once bloomed in profusion.

Only a stray cat curled up in the corner to rest.

Theme: I like you, but it seems we cannot be together
