Then, one day, everything changed. The apocalypse arrived. She listened to the farming game's notification that it had loaded to one hundred percent and looked at the farm, bigger than her school's sports field. Is this real? And does it belong to her?!

For a moment, she didn't know whether she should worry about the future or rejoice at finally having the portable farm she'd dreamed of for so long.

But before she could figure out the rules of the farming game, she accidentally became a cannon-fodder character who died at the very start of the apocalypse.

One day, Ye Ling and her family sit in their cozy little house, eating hot pot and drinking delicious, sweet fruit juice. A fluffy little creature they can pet is by their side as they browse the national game forum from time to time.

Meanwhile, the forum is buzzing with posts:

"Damn it, why did the sweet potatoes I was growing so carefully wither again? Looks like I'm eating grass this month!"

"My apple tree finally bore fruit. This time they've grown to a whopping 50 grams each. I'll trade them for fertilizer."

"Celebrate! My farm has finally gone from a crumbling farm to an ordinary farm."

"Help, five weird-looking people just appeared on my farm, and the game says they're my subjects?? Can some expert explain what's going on?"

Ye Ling reads this, then looks at her farm, which has already become a village, and her thousands of subjects busy with production. She smiles in satisfaction.

Later, while playing, before her farm has even reached the highest level, Ye Ling discovers that the apocalypse is already over and their world has successfully evolved. Now that's something worth celebrating!!!
