Yao Yichen was an ordinary person. He had lived an ordinary life on Earth for twenty-five years. Then, on one of his completely unremarkable trips home from work, a robber pulled a knife on him
Half a second later, a squad of twelve special police officers dropped from the sky, sealed off the scene, and swiftly took down the robber.
Just as he thought they'd made such a fuss because the robber was a fugitive serial killer
the special police captain stepped forward and saluted Yao Yichen. "Whew... You scared me, sir. Thank goodness you're all right."

Half a month later, Yao Yichen lost his job, and his landlord kicked him out. He had nowhere to go.
He watched enviously as a helicopter descended onto the roof of a distant building. Little did he know that five minutes later, he'd be on that very helicopter.
The helicopter took Yao Yichen to the outskirts of the city. A special police officer pointed to a heavily guarded villa and told him that it would be his dorm from now on.
The officer also made a point of explaining that the dorm could withstand a nuclear blast. The state was concerned for his safety and had thoughtfully arranged it for him.

Yao Yichen was forced to live with four eccentric roommates.
At first, he thought they were a germaphobe, a happy chubby gamer, a crazy girl, and a freak.
Then he discovered
the germaphobe was a core member of Mensa and the country's youngest academician;
the chubby gamer weighed two hundred pounds, played video games all day, and kept calling people "you Earthlings," but was actually an alien crown prince;
the crazy girl babbled and jumped at every little thing, thin as a rail, and people followed her around recording everything she said. It turned out she could see the future and make her words come true;
the freak slept dangling from the ceiling every night, but was actually a human with ancestral traits, on the verge of transforming into an ancient dragon.
Yao Yichen: ...Looks like I'm the only useless one.
