Lu Qi was an utterly ordinary high school senior.
Recently, he'd been having dreams.
On the first night, he dreamed that enormous shadows were hurtling toward the solar system at the speed of light. When they passed Earth, they would bring total destruction.
Lu Qi: Sleeping pills x1
On the second night, a strange voice appeared in his dream and told him it was real.
Lu Qi: Sleeping pills x2
On the third night, the eerie voice echoed again. The solar system really was doomed.
Lu Qi: But I still have to take the mock exam...

Later, strange things began to happen, and all scientific logic stopped working.
The air could drown you. Earth's gravity was 1 at the equator, but over 1,000 at the South Pole. A quantum computer repeated a calculation fifty billion times, and even 1 + 1 equaled 0. Someone flipped a coin a hundred times in a row, and it landed heads every time...
Lu Qi was working seriously on a statistics problem when he balled up his exam paper and hurled it away. (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻
Are they seriously not going to give high school seniors a chance to live?
Then something even more terrifying than the end of the world happened to Lu Qi.
The university entrance exam was postponed.
*
That night, while dreaming, Lu Qi grabbed hold of the strange thing directly.
The boy spoke in a dark voice, enunciating every word: "You're. All. Doomed."
A little bonus scene:
*
At the boundary between reality and illusion, all logic failed. Newton and Einstein were practically itching to climb out of their coffins.
Wielding a long, pitch-black, ice-cold blade, the boy walked beneath the moonlight, reaping the creatures invading from countless dream worlds. The blade was covered in tens of thousands of evil spirits.
His words were law; his actions were divine will.
Dream creatures who had seen him spoke in terror, calling him the only tyrant in millions of years to escape the Dreamlands.
Other dream creatures tried to make out the true words the tyrant muttered, hoping to steal his power. The boy cut them all down with his blade.
*
Where those creatures couldn't hear, the boy held a knife in his left hand and a book in his right, muttering to himself:
"Abandon... abandon. Damn it! The university entrance exam is only three months away!"
"I'll never finish studying! To hell with all of you!"
