#Socially anxious, withdrawn police captain shou x doctor gong with a pathological personality#
No one in the criminal investigation squad dared ask what their withdrawn and peculiar captain, Yuan Yan, secretly got up to after work every day.
That is, until a joint operation between the squad and the municipal bureau brought in a consultant surnamed Xu.
Only a few days after moving into the office, he tried to persuade his colleagues to find out what Captain Yuan's "little secret" was.
Naturally, no one dared follow him.
The next day, Captain Yuan arrived early.
The captain, who usually acted like the squad's resident grandpa, actually helped Consultant Xu tidy his desk and even made him a cup of coffee.
Later, rumors even spread around the squad that Consultant Xu had thoroughly taken advantage of Captain Yuan.
Xu Xiangdi took it upon himself to post a clarification in the work chat:
"I wasn't taking advantage of him! We're in love with each other!"
Xu Xiangdi: Captain Yuan, if you'll forgive my frankness, you're not normal.
Yuan Yan: Put the knife down. We can talk this out.
Criminal investigation, two strong leads, sound values and social messaging, happy ending.
Theme: A brief discussion of Cesare Lombroso's born-criminal theory and related ideas.
