Wang Mei: "I had a wife. Then she died."

After the war between gods and demons, Wang Mei, the Immortal of Lotus Splendor, was banished to the Ninefold Abyss and confined there. Beneath the deep sea, she found an egg. With nothing to do during her confinement, Wang Mei began to incubate it.

Just as her confinement ended, the egg hatched. A stunning beauty who looked exactly like her wife emerged, blinking her sparkling eyes and smiling at her. Then she opened her mouth, leaving Wang Mei utterly stunned:

She called her, "Mother!"

Wang Mei was horrified: "Did I hatch my wife!? And now she calls me Mother!? Shouldn't she call me Wife!?"
