The Insectoid Race's Beloved

Weng Chi was swept away by a mission and transmigrated to the insect race, where he became a disabled male insect. He was also tasked with helping a royal female insect become emperor.

Is this really something a person should do?

Weng Chi: I hate the royal family with every fiber of my being. I will never be their lackey.

In insect society, males reign supreme and females are treated as inferior. Female insects are bullied at will.

When a female insect was framed and nearly blown to pieces, Weng Chi reluctantly saved his life.

When the female insect was bullied for having inadequate mech equipment, Weng Chi casually modified the mech, making the enemy cry for their mothers.

Later, when an enemy nation invaded and the female insect was forced onto the battlefield, bidding him farewell, Weng Chi refused to let it happen. He had looked after him for so long. How could he let someone else bully him?

Weng Chi: I hate the royal family with every fiber of my being. I'll kill the emperor for you right now, and you can take the throne.

Later, the female insect asked Weng Chi, "Do you like me?"

Weng Chi: I wasn't trying to kiss you. My mouth moved on its own.
