The Insect Queen Doesn't Want to Lay Eggs

The fertility pill essence, Danyang Yi, accidentally drifted into the Dark Starfield and was chosen as the Insect Queen.

Only after taking the throne did Danyang learn that the Queen had the vital duty of bearing the insect race's young. The princes had already selected eighteen outstanding young men from various races, all waiting for Danyang to favor them and produce offspring.

Danyang: No way. Absolutely not. I'd rather die than lay eggs.

But faced with the insect race's annual egg count of less than a thousand, their habit of raiding other races every year to steal eggs, and the responsibility resting on the Queen's shoulders, Danyang made a momentous decision.

A harmonious insect race, where everyone lays eggs.

With her gift for helping others conceive and bear children, Danyang thrived among the insects. She improved their living conditions, expanded education and put an end to old bad habits, pursued diplomacy and development abroad, and fostered harmonious relations. In the end, Danyang became a great sage ruler of her age.

After ascending to immortality, Danyang said in her speech: All this glory is thanks to my marshal, who is also my very own pill furnace, Eulassis.
